I have a person who is using Yahoo messenger. The user id is not an email address. How can my windows 'live' messenger receive this person? Tried to place the yahoo members user id on my Windows 'live' contact list and it was refused. Does this Yahoo member need a email address? Thank you in advance

Yes the contact you are trying to add must have an e-mail address it then asks you what network you wish to add them from.
