when i restart my system automatically windows live messenger is comming up

Go onto Tools%26gt;Options in the Windows Live Messenger window. If you have got it in compact view, click on the Show menu button, which is at the top of the Windows Live Messenger Window, then click on Tools%26gt;Options. Then click 'General' on the Side tab. On the top of the window, there will be a check box saying 'Automatically run Windows Live Messenger when I log on to Windows'. Uncheck that box. Then click OK. Now, it will not open again when you log on.

try



START UP OPTIONS



click start in blue bar



run



type in msconfig



choose start up



put a check beside the ones you want to run



uncheck programs you don"t want running
options on messenger, general. untick run on startup
start/ run type in msconfig/ then go to the tab saying startup click on that tab / find the item in that menu remove its check mark press apply and restart pc poof not n startup anymore done... cheers
press start, type in msconfig, deselect it in start up options
Do it this way. Click start select run in box type msconfig %26gt; enter %26gt; click on startup un check all checked field except of antivirus %26amp; anti spyware or live those you want to run at startup. Choose %26amp; click services, Check beside hide all MS Services. In remaining list uncheck all except Anti virus %26amp; Anti spyware services click apply click ok you will asked to restart click restart. You are done.
Type MSCONFIG in ur startup-RUN option, and then Start Up and then Uncheck the Box present in front of MSN.

there will be a check box 'Automatically run windows live messenger when i lod into windows' uncheck that.
PLEASE DONT run msconfig, all programs have a way of disabling on startup. For windows live messenger start the messenger then click on the blue "windows live messenger" bar, select tools -%26gt; options then click general tab on left and untick the top box which is automatically run windows live messenger when I sign into windows... then to start it when you want just go to start -%26gt; programs.
