Parallels requires a Windows CD like WIndows XP, Windows Vista so it can use that to run Windows. This will allow you to run windows software/games on a Macintosh. Parallels is a Mac supported software and is not that expensive. Macintosh do have a MSN version for the Mac but it isn't windows live.

Yes, you can - although I switched to aMSN. It has way more features than the version microsoft makes available for apple users.
I use AdiumX. It can connect with MSN, AIM, Yahoo, Jabber etc.
