Windows Live Messenger closes after logging in!!!?

I log in nicely, but after a few seconds, the window will just close. I can log in and use the windows messenger, which is obviously not the same :'( . I tried re-installinig, erasing and installing and repairing.... but nothing works.

I'm having the same problem too... so far, I suspect a malware in my system, but haven't confirmed it yet.

It might be a bug in the program or some other software is causing problems with messenger.

Try installing an older version of msn messenger and see if it works.

If you are still having problems you will need to clean your computer using an anti-virus scanner, malware scanner, registry cleaner, etc.

If all else fails----%26gt; back up all your data (music, documents, etc) and format your computer.
