when i share files on Windows Live Messenger using "Sharing Folders" am I uploading / downloading from the internet. In other words, each time i add a file, does this count towards my monthly upload / download limit?

yes.....when some one accesses ur sharing folders its considered as uploading for you and when u access some one else's its downloading for u.......to be simple u will be charged
