I have wireless internet and using windows live messenger is really slow?

when using windows live messenger over my wireless internet connection it signs me out and i sometimes dont even recieve messages people send me.,.any ideas on how to speed it up?

i heard u hav 2 change something 2 SSID or something...im confused..pls help

Your SSID, or your Service Set Identifier, is simply your wireless network's name. (e.g, Wireless Network 1, linksys, dlink, etc.), changing this will just simply change your network's name.

Often times you may have interference which can slow down your connection speed between your computer/laptop and your wireless router. Try changing channels or rebooting your router. Try both if you have the time.
